Hi.

Find this file :

ROOT/omponents/com_community/assets/tipsy-0.1.7/src/stylesheets/tipsy.css

Copy content to main css file of your current template. You can change values aas you like. If change doesn't work add !important before ending ;.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi,

You can change this file components/com_community/assets/modules/module.css, this is the color and tipsy style code :

.tipsy{padding:5px;font-size:10px;opacity:0.8;filter:alpha(opacity=80);background-repeat:no-repeat;background-image:url(../tipsy-0.1.7/src/images/tipsy.gif);}
.tipsy-inner{padding:5px 8px 4px 8px;background-color:black;color:white;max-width:200px;text-align:center;}
.tipsy-inner{-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;}
.tipsy-north{background-position:top center;}
.tipsy-south{background-position:bottom center;}
.tipsy-east{background-position:right center;}
.tipsy-west{background-position:left center;}

I hope it will help

Hi Ewebs,

Ok, make it simple, open this file components/com_community/assets/modules/module.css, find this code :

.tipsy-inner{padding:5px 8px 4px 8px;background-color:black;color:white;max-width:200px;text-align:center;}

change the "black" color to "red" for example and dont forget to add the important tag, the code will be like this :
.tipsy-inner{padding:5px 8px 4px 8px;background-color:red !important;color:white;max-width:200px;text-align:center;}

Hi ewebs,

since the modification is coming from the modules file, you need activate whatever jomsocial modules in your profile page / edit profile page, if you check on tooltips in frontend the color already changed.

thank you

you dont activate any jomsocia module on edit profile page, ok another way edit this file /components/com_community/templates/default/css/style.css, and change this color :

.tipsy-inner{padding:5px 8px 4px 8px;background-color:black;color:white;max-width:200px;text-align:center;}
