Hello, I have upgraded to JomSocial version 3.2.1.4 within a Joomla 2.5.19 evironment. Since I was seeing just a bullet populate in the browser when accessing a few different items in the profiles section (Specific URL request:
connect.stetson.edu/profile-2
), I figured to enable the PHP engine to render errors into the browser. As a result a discovered the error message just below.
Error message:
Fatal error: Class 'CActivity' not found in /u/webdata/local/software/thirdparty/joomla/stetson-connect/components/com_community/templates/default/activities.profile.php on line 24
Excerpt From file [ROOT]/components/com_community/templates/default/activities.profile.php:

/**
* @since 3.2 we'll use CActivity for each activity object
* @todo in sprint 3 we must move everything into CActivity while passing into template layout
*/
/* Temporary fix for sprint 2 */
if ($this->act instanceof CTableActivity) {
/* If this's CTableActivity then we use getProperties() */
$activity = new CActivity($this->act->getProperties());
} else {
/* If it's standard object than we just passing it */
$activity = new CActivity($this->act);[/color] <--- looks like class does not exist
}
I am guessing this could be an environment related issue in which I need to make this class visible to the application or I am missing the class itself (CActivity)
If you have a specific answer please feel free to share.
It appears that the class does not exist
[.....]$ grep -r "class CActivity" *
libraries/activities.php:class CActivityStream extends CActivities {
[...]$ pwd
[ROOT]/components/com_community
class CActivity location:
/components/com_community/libraries/activity.php
please make sure that files exist. it not try to re-install it again from ijoomla installer. if still can't please provide me FTP access detail.
By editing your first post at this topic, put it at site info form.
It surely does not exist. This must be the file I need. Can it be emailed to my registered email address. I have performed two upgrades and received the same results.
Thanks,
Matt
