Hi,

I'm having trouble with my JomSocial installation after a recent Joomla upgrade: if I try to edit a user profile from backend (using the administrator component), when I press "Save" (or "Save and close") I get logged out from administration panel and redirected back to the backend login page.

Modifications are not being saved, even if I can read the message "User updated succesfully".

PS: I've deeply core-hacked of JomSocial, so I can't perform any update at the moment.

seem your administrator is not valid. I can't logged in with that. please check it again.
I need to investigate this issue first, at your site.

I got 406 message. maybe you have IP restriction? can you disable it first?

Where do you get that error? I have no restriction enabled!

Now if I save, modifications are kept but I am still being logged out from the backend..

now I can access it. could you please install Akeeba Backup? I need that for make local site copy. Deep debugging at locally its more safe, because can damaging your site.

maybe core-hacked make this problem.

I've installed Akeeba.
I've also saved a backup from my cPanel to be easily restored! ;)

PS: the problem appeared after a Joomla update. Furthermore, I've never modified the JomSocial backend side! :)

I think there is something wrong with you customization. even at frontend every time I logged in and access own profile. it will logout.
jomsocial backend and frontend shared some library or any codes.

could you please check your customization related with users or profile if any? Because when I re-install the jomsocial. this issue will be gone. so I assume the problem related with customization.

Thank you, I've solved!
I don't know what it happened, but all my files in the "libraries" folder had different size than original ones, though I only modified few of them; the problem was in the "user.php" file.
