The following has happened to me several times and to my colleague too: if we click on the Top Menu button that should take us to Jomsocial, then we are returned to the Home Page and logged out. This occurs when we are actively using other page of the site and we are logged in. This has only been happening in the last week. Thank you.
Hi, Susan.
I can't reach your site backend:
prntscr.com/4ivjf5
I checked your test site. Do you also use JomSocial 3.2.0.5 on your life site?
Hi, Susan.
This issue was reported some time ago. It was a bug in 3.2.0.5 so recommended fix is to upgrade to latest version 3.2.1.4
We have upgraded one of dev sites to 3.2.1.4 and the problem is still occurring. We have not finished testing that upgrade on the dev site, so we have not upgraded our main site to 3.2.1.4yet.
So the problem is not fixed with your new upgrade - please can you investigate? I am putting a login to the frontend of the dev site in my first post, so you can watch this happen.
Hi, Susan.
Is your site: domain.com/Hz9b a dev site? because it's not upgraded:
prntscr.com/4kt1mq
it's still 3.2.0.5...
No it is a live site! We are testing on schoolclasslist.co.uk/dev and we have been getting the same problem with the upgrade. We are about to upgrade Hz9b after some more testing on the dev site.
I have edited my first post with a login to the frontend of a dev site, so if you navigate around for a bit and go to the My Social page a few times you will see that it sometimes logs you out of the site when you click on My Social.
We have had a lot of people sign up to our main site and so we are very embarrassed that they are experiencing problems with this just when they are getting used to the site. So please can you help fix this quickly!
Hi, Susan.
Then please, edit your first post and make clear what is your live site, what is your dev site and add credentials to htaccess (as dev site seems to be protected).
I haven't touched anything in any of your sites - just to make it clear ;) I was just confused by access you provided us...
hi, Susan.
I checked both your sites: live and dev... and to be honest I can't replicate behavior you described.
Does it happens when you browse with specific browser (I used Chrome)?
Does it happens often or from time to time?
Only to particular users? (You mentioned you and other users).
I need more information to narrow down the possibilities...
We need to replicate the issue, see it in order to fix it...
Hi, Susan.
I'm using chrome browser... and still it doesn't happening to me...
