Since the new update of jomsocial the profile picture of an event couldn't be set or changed. The Pop-up which opens has just empty content.

this issue can because 3rd party plugins or server configuration. please make sure open basedir at php configuration is disable.

that the error message from ajax request. for hole error message, maybe you can find it at server error logs. please ask your hosting support how to find it. because depend with the hosting it self.
