I confirm - you discovered another bug in this feature.
But before I report it to our developer I need you to open new thread regarding it. Just copy your last post from here.
I need it in order to track bug fixing.

So I mark this thread as "Resolved" and will proceed further when you open new thread.

Hello!

Thank you, but this seems to work only partially. I try to explain ...

This report-function is used by many of my members. They report spam, commercials, law-breaking-posts and so on.

If user reports a post, then the link in back-end will work now. (Thanks for this!) The post will be readable in community-stream but administrator is informed by mail. That is okay for me. If admin unpublihes the post, ist will be deleted from activity-stream. This is also okay, because admin can contact the member and so on. If admin then uses the "publish" button, nothing will happen. The post is gone forever. I think, this is a problem. The buttons "ignore", "publish", "unpublish" are very distracting for me.

By the way. If a admin reports a stream-post, then this post will be deleted immediately. The backend link will not work because of deletion. This is also a very strange behaviour in my opinion.

Reporting system is very important in my opinion. Perhaps I misunderstand some things. Would be great, if you could help me.

Regards
Jürgen

Hi, Jürgen.

Thank you, I report this bug to our developers.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Jürgen.

Please, make safe copy of those files:

ROOT/components/com_community/controllers/activities.php
ROOT/components/com_community/models/activities.php

Then download, unzip and upload package content to MAIN Joomla! folder on server.

Hello,

this solves some problems. Thank you for that!

Still the wrong message is shown "Post removed" (even when pubilshed or unpublished). Further, the button uses COM_COMMUNITY_PUBLISH for published posts. I think, it would be more logical to use the label COM_COMMUNITY_PUBLISHED. So you can see the status of the post.

Jürgen
