Hi,

i want to hide the search function for users so that they are unable to search for other members.
How can i hide the entries in the toolbar submenu?

Hi Dennis,

you can do it by using CSS, put this CSS at your custom CSS

.view-search #community-wrap ul.cSubmenu li:nth-child(2), .view-search #community-wrap ul.cSubmenu li:nth-child(3), .view-friends #community-wrap ul.cSubmenu li:nth-child(2), .view-friends #community-wrap ul.cSubmenu li:nth-child(3){
  display: none;
}

after that for toolbar, you disable it from Joomla backend. menus manage.

Albert

if you don't know how to do it. please provide me FTP access detail by editing your first post at this topic. and put it at site info form.
