After accessing the website, a menu bar appears. There are two drop-down items (profile and friends, please file attached). Hovering by them should be deployed, but now does not. I do not know if the last update Jomsocial is related.

Yes, that works. But I need to use the menu module in Joomla as a navigation system because I have a multi language website. On the other hand, do not know what happened, but I found that the main menu in English has moved along with the main menu in Spanish (Now I'm recovering) Could this happen to choose MegaMenu?

I have moved both menu item with single menu list so that it can be shown with mega menu.
which serve your both purpose too.
So need to move back the menu item with different menu list.

It seems some third party issue which stop javascript operation.
I have tested socialize template with fresh joomla and Joomla menu with hovering effect is working fine at with my local machine.
Can you replicate this with fresh joomla and socialize template?

That time I have moved all menu item of both language under single menu list so that one menu list can be assigned at template manager > socialize > navigation
with menu type as megamenu.
Cause, I am seeing megamenu is working fine at your site.

I created a new install of Joomla and socialize just to try the menu. The menu option is "Joomla menu" instead of "MegaMenu"

Please check the menu in these two URLs:
