Age Restriction on Registration

How do you add an age restriction to a site. For instance sites that are 18+ only.

It is just about to set a configuration at
1. go to site admin panel > components > jomsocial > profiles > customize profile
2. edit birthdate filed
3. set the filed value properly
"Maximum Range in YYYY-MM-DD or numeric age", "Minimum Range in YYYY-MM-DD or numeric age"
4. check at front site

This doesnt seem practical, you would have to update it frequently to ensure that it was accurate...

Why doesnt it have the ability have an age restriction in settings, and then have the system check against this during registration?

You may place year at that field as the screenshot.
In that case you don't need to change it frequently.
