Hi There,
I would like to add a new tab in jomsocial menu to link to the the calendar page in our website.

The menu manager in joomla does allow me to add new items, however I don't have menu type jomsocial available, is there a way to add it?

Is there any other way to add a new tab to jomsocial menu?

you can add new menu item to Jomsocial Toolbar menu at joomla backend menu manager.
joomsocial menu type named "Community".

please provide me your administrator access detail if you need I do something for you.

But all these options allow me to create a link within jomsocial. How can I make this new tab to link to the calendar on the joomla site (I am using jEvents for the main calendar on the website).

Hi Jana,

goto menu manager: Jomsocial toolbar - create new item - select other menu type. you can select system links - external link and put full url of calendar page.

Jomsocial toolbar basically same like other joomla menu items becuase jomsocial using joomla standard.

if you still don't know how to do it. please give me the detail, what link/url of the page do you want to put as jomsocial toolbar item.

Unfortunately I don't have the "Other Menu Type" option, may be I am not looking in the right place. The only options available after I click on select for menu type are:

what URL for the calendar that you want to put it in jomsocial toolbar?
if the menu type not there, you can use External URL. with external URL you can put any link at there.

FYI: I cannot access the administrator page. seem your site info is invalid. because the url using ASP.
