Hi, Obere.

This is valid bug and I hope we'll have fix for it soon.
I'll update you ASAP.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Ober.

I'm sorry, I missed other questions.

You probably mean default hight for photos already uploded to albums, right. As you can't set restriction so only photos of certain height and with will be uploade.

So in order to set different width for photos in JomSocial you'll need to edit this file:
ROOT/administrator/components/com_community/default.ini
Line 115 photodisplaysize=960 (this is for width only as height is automatic)
If this will not work, then you'll need to edit this value in database in _community_config table.

What do you mean by "frames" you mean iframe or a border around photos/avatars... or you mean popups or modal windows?

HI, Obere.

Change in default.ini file will affect photos that are uploaded after change so they will be bigger but still should fir your template.

Yes, sure you can add border to avatars or photos. You just need to add proper class and set values for border eg. border: 2px solid #000000; This code will make 2px thick black border around object.

And here is fix for avatar issue:

Make safe copy of this files:

ROOT/components/com_community/assets/script-1.2.js
ROOT/components/com_community/assets/script-1.2.min.js

Download package, unzip and upload to main folder of Joomla!

As fix contains js scripts you'll need to clear browser cache before testing the fix.
You'll need to delete duplicated entries manually.

Regarding your note underlined above i was not talking about photos already uploaded, I was asking if it is possible to set a default height for new photos displayed in profile page and community page because like what i have attached that photo happens to be too long on the site in fact i couldn't screenshot the complete height of the photo as it was too long to screenshot. this is what i need a solution for kindly help me

Hi, Obere.

So you meant a Photos on activity stream.
All single portrait images are scaled down in css to 320px width:

#community-wrap .joms-stream-single-photo.portrait {
max-width: 320px;
}

You can change this value by overriding it in your css file. Just copy code above and add !important to value.

You experience that issue because your screen dimension is just small.
