Ability to delete or hide any activity type on users own profile stream.

I noticed a user does not have the ability to delete or hide some posts on their activity stream. For example:

X added a new event
or
X posted a new announcement

I would like my users to have the ability to delete or at least hide any and all activity that appears on their stream. Is this possible?

at the moment Jomsocial still not support that. user can hide activities as per items only not type.
