the default privacy is working fine. if you want reset the privacy:
1. select the privacy option first
2. click save (top right button)
3. after saved you can click reset privacy button.
must click save first before reset the privacy.

and about privacy select box missing at frontend, that because this plugin: JSPT Community Plugin
please contact that plugin support. if not user cant change they privacy settings.
