I saw other post similar thing, and i've the same problem.
initially I thought my users had purposely uploaded multiple times, but as more and more users coming into the site, and when they uploaded their profile cover, our stream are fully covered by them.
so, i figured something not correct, and when i check the forum, looks like many people having the same. so i'm not alone. but doesn't seems provide any fixing.

the duplicated activities stream must delete manually by using admin user. do you already try to changing or upload profile cover again?

dont forget to clear cache first

yes, i did just that.
deleted from admin, looks ok.
cleared cache.

but when asked the user to change the cover again, multiple images appearing.

unfortunately, i've to reopen this case.

coz today some of my users seems to have this problem.. again. The weird part is ... not every user, just a certain user -- not sure what's unique about these users...

because the changes at javascript. maybe some of users still using old javascript becuase the cache. please try to clear any cache at your backend.

hi albert, thanks for following up.

the problem still there. infact, not just profile cover, but also whenever the user update their avatar. right now, i've just disable the user point thing for various items, so it doesn't appear in the stream.

hope there's a fix to this soon.
