Hello, I was wondering if you could tell me how to reword the error "You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator." that members see when they click on a link in the new message notification email. It should say something like "You need to log in to view this" instead of making it appear that there was an error. Where can I find this wording so I can edit it? If I edit this error, will it affect other "errors" that wouldn't make sense to say log in first? (Another words, is this "error" used for multiple different issues?)

Thank you

Hi.

Try to use Joomla! language override feature: www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joom...ew-language-override . Just look for phrase you want to translate.

COM_COMMUNITY_PERMISSION_DENIED_WARNING is used every time when guest is trying to view restricted site pages like groups, photos and do on. So changing it to "log in first" will also have sense.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
