I am making one of these:

All of my options are very long, some 50+ characters.
I would like to display the full name but only store an abbreviation.
In plain html I would do:

  <option value="Abbreviation">FullName</option>
  <option value="saab">Saab</option>
  <option value="opel">Opel</option>
  <option value="audi">Audi</option>
</select>

How can I only display the hero area to guests? I can hide the activity stream but I also want to hide events, groups, members etc...
