Hi guys,
Reproduce steps:
1. Go to Profiles/Multiple Profile.
2. Click to a profile.
3. Go to "Fields" tab and set a field from Yes->No then click Apply.
After click "Apply" page reload but the change is not affected.
I have my developer help me investigate this.
We found an incorrect the logic from line 307 in \administrator\components\com_community\controllers\multiprofile.php
if( !$isNew && empty($fields) )
{
$multiprofile->deleteChilds();
}
Hi, Cheryl.
You're first person that reports this... and also I can't replicate it on my site (JomSocial 3.2.0.6).
Please provide us with working administrator credentials.
I can't login to your site.
Please, edit your first post and add credentials to corresponding fields.
This time I need it... I don't even know what version of Joomla! and JomSocial you use.
It seems to be site specific issue.
Hi, Cheryl.
I'm sorry but I can't replicate it on your site.
I followed your steps:
1. I went to Profiles/Multiple Profile.
2. I clicked to a profile -("Guest " profile in this case)
3. Went to "Fields" tab and set a field from Yes->No then clicked Save. I marked ALL fields as YES...
And it was saved successfully - you can check it. This profile is inactive so no visitor will see it on frontend.
But it works.
Or maybe this steps apply to certain profile?
Hi, Cheryl.
Ok, I see that they could be set to YES but not to NO...
Please, upgrade to current version -> JomSocial 3.2.0.7 and check if issue persist.
Hi Michal,
I have just renew Jomsocial to reply you.
Currently, I saw this bug is on your demo page with Jomsocial 3.2.0.6.
In 3.2.0.7, I don't see your change log mention about this.
Please confirm and fix it asap.
Following your logical in source code, I have to turn "No" all then turn "Yes" for each item I want.
BR.
Hi, Cheryl.
Yes, changelog doesn't mention about this issue... but may fix it.
Please, give it a try. If you don't want to do it on your live site then set a dev site.
