Can not read private Messages

Hi i can not read a private message i got from another user.

The Notification is shown but when i click on the message it wont open ?

It worked fine before and i do not know what changed.

I integrated google analytics to the site so this might be the problem but it is just a guess.

It would be nice if you could fix the problem asap,

I'm surprised that it worked before :)
You had menu misconfiguration.: there was no home element for JomSocial (it should be JomSocial home/frontpage iany other menu than JomSocial toolbar) and you duplicated menu item that already exit in JomSocial toolbar.

Golden rule is: if you want to create link to JomSocial page and similar link already exist in JomSocial toolbar - don't create another direct link to that page, use menu alias instead.

I changed menu item in your Main menu to JomSocial home and now you can read messages.

Another issue was that you declared your site to be multilingual - enabled language plugin and declared language for content. But you don't need that if you use site in your native language only... and haven't prepared menu for that.
So I disabled Language filter plugin.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
