Hello,

I'm developing a site in which I have two user's profile types: Professionals and non professionals. I would like that the professionals users have a professional profile like in Linkedin, in which they can write a resume about their professional experience ¿is there any plugin to do that? And I would like to hide the activity box in the professional profile, and that the no-professionals users have a normal profile...

Is there any way to configure that the users of a type of profile can only see other users and the information about the users with the same kind of profile? That is to say that professional can only see the net of professionals users and that the non-profesional can only be related with non-profesional users.

Thanks and best regards!

Hi, Talia.

1. This should help you: www.readybytes.net/jomsocial-profile-type.html

2. I'm not sure if JSPT will cover this... if not, then you can achieve it only by customization.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
