Hi
For some time now e-mail notifications are not working. This is what I have tried:
1) Purged all previous notifications from mail queue
2) Reset both "Existing users privacy settings" and " Existing users notification setting" - All settings now set to "on"
3) Tried from front end to change individual users settings - nothing helped
Searched the forum but not much help there.
Thanks in advance for your rapid assistance.

Hi, Martin.
I assign developer to this thread.
Hi Martin,
May I know in which email notification part is not working? have you setup the cron job documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_Up_Cron_Job? because the email queue will be generated via cron job.
thank you
Yes Cron Job is setup vias cPanel. Previously though, I was only using "sending emails on page load", as I was not (and still am not) using video upload or Amazon S3 etc.
E-mails were being sent in general but I noticed that more and more mails were not generated and now I cannot trick any output whatsoever.
I have setup the system to generate e-mails on all occasions. Joomla mails are being sent for new users etc. Problem only for JS.
As I have understood the system, the e-mails are generated by JS and sent to the mail queue. They are blocked for sending if privacy settings are set to "no".
But how can the cron job have anything to do with the mail queue other than being the trigger for sending the mails themselves? I have read somewhere that "sending mails on page load" actually triggers the cron url and is therefor not useable for video conversion sites etc.
hi Martin,
ok I will inspect your issue further, but can you make sure the Joomla backend is working? because when I went to your backend URL I got this :
403 - En fejl er opstået
You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?

I don't have any problems in by admin panel. I am using Akeeba Backup's Admin Tools - maybe some security setting there stopped you in whatever you were doing.
Hi Martin,
Now I am getting loading forever, I cant access your backend site.. I am from Indonesia, can you make sure you unblock your site from Indonesian IP, please?
thank you
Hi,
There are no active IP blockings at the moment. I have no problems from my end.
If it is still a problem, please PM your IP to me and I will white list is - hopefully that would work.
I have also edited this post to include a new url for my back end. Please try this.
Hi Martin,
I am sorry for delay answer, but still I cant access to your website.. I am getting "This webpage is not available"
thank you
Still not working, can you totally disabled the geoblocking for while, please? because I am using dynamic IP
That's strange - I am not using geo blocking at all right now... My IP black list is empty. I really cannot understand why you have these problems.
I have not totally disabled everything regarding geo blocking. I just renamed .htaccess also - don't know if it helps.
I am not sure why, but I am getting timeout, already tested on another PC and internet connection the result still same
