Some Profile INFO still showing despite privacy setting

Hi,

I have a private site where all the privacy settings are exclusive for members. However when you access a profile directly thru its URL a restricted Box Appears but certain info is left visible.
I need that NO info is visible, how can I achieve this?

What is correct URL of your community. I can't reach domain you provided as supported domain.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Also I tried to change the supported Domain on my account and it wasn't possible

You hold a PRO license and only ONE domain is supported in that subscription.
Please, could you put a little more light on why it's different domain?

The correct domain is kommunity.kipling.edu.mx , I already tried to change it in my account panel but I couldn't. Can you please change it accordingly?

Provided supported domain can't be changed unless you have reason e.g domain name typo.
If reason is valid - we'll change domain for you.

Hi,

The reasons for the domain change:

1) First: There was a typo on the domain we registered. It doesn't even exist...
2) Consolidate: We are consolidating the school social network under kommunity.kipling.edu.mx

Domain changed.

Well, this is not a security issue. First of all you can't hide this brief info in privacy settings.
In order to see it someone need to know EXACT url path to community member profile.

But still this can be hidden. I edited file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/people.browse.php in line 170:

Changed this:

<?php if( !empty( $data )) { ?>

with this:
<?php if( !empty( $data ) AND !$user->guest) { ?>

and added this:
$user = JFactory::getUser();

In the top of file.
