I've just registered a new user and was wanting to know how I can temporarily turn off the activation/registration emails from being sent.
We're still in the testing stage and don't want to be sending out these emails if we can help it.

Hi Max,

you can set "New User Account Activation" on joomla user manager -> options into : "None" so new registered user will not received activation link and automatically enabled..

if you also want to stop joomla to send welcome email when registered (which is contains username and password), you can turn off "Send Password" options on the same page like user activation.
