Website slow response or Geocode error

Website response is still very slow :(

What else we could do?

Debug console is not and error... it's a tool for developers... or support.
It needs to be on in order to monitor your site performance.
I need to talk about it with the rest of support members.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

We would like to try another way to test the speed.

We are setting up a new site with the another domain and I have included the ftp and datbase info at the Misc Information area and please check it.

We have installed the Joomla and want to install the jomsocial 3.2.0.5 but we got an warning message as following:

An error has occurred.
0 SQL=LOCK TABLES `ypi2z_menu` WRITE

How can we solve this problem? Shall we change the set up for the new site? This is something related to server setup?

We use the same server for the new site so we can test the speed of the server as well.

Hi, Linda.

I suggest to do it other way round.
Please install CLEAN Joomla! on your server. Then we examine speed of clean Jomla! Then we install JomSocial and compare loading times.

Please update your first post (credential box) and provide us with working administrator detail.

We have installed CLEAN Joomla! on our server and it is very fast. Please see the link below. We have added the login info and it is at the Misc Information area.

Hi, Linda.

This issue is due to lack of WRITE privileges for user that has access to database.

Usually in cpanel under the mysql heading you will find the following:
1. manage databases
2. manage users
3. PHPMyAdmin

Select manage users and then select user and database and assign ALL privileges.
Privileges
ALL ALTER CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES CREATE DELETE DROP SELECT INSERT UPDATE REFERENCES INDEX LOCK TABLES

No, you need to grand proper rights for database user.
I already suggest you solution for access rights.

We have installed the jomsocial and testing now.

One of the problems is to access to google font api and we have made it localize and the website responseit better.

We compare the new site and the .org one and the new site is faster.

Can you please help us to test it?

I suspected that Google API could be a trouble here as China is know to block it services.
I'm happy that you managed to remove Google cals in JomSocial.
I wanted to provide you with code location but you already found it.
