For a reason I could not work out the avatar on the invitation window (via group page) is not holding at 40px. If I edit line 1822 of file ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/css/style.css from body #cWindow .cGrid-Avatar{max-width:40px;width:100%;} to body #cWindow .cGrid-Avatar{max-width:40px;} it works ok but I don't think it;s the right approach.

1 - by inspecting your demo I see that my code is the same so technically it should be ok....
2 - if I am to modify the code as above then it must be done via override but I couldn't work that one out so please let me know which code to insert on ROOT/templates/your_template/html/com_community/default/css/style.css

As far I can see you're using some custom template, could you check if this problem will also appear on default Joomla template?

Yep, you're right. Tried with beez3 and protostar and there was no issue. Have applied the override to template's custom.css and it's sweet as now (localhost version). Thanks for the clue.
