Every time I send out a mass email, the spacing is all messed up. This has been happening across countless versions. Is there some way of changing the spacing for mass email?

can you provide screenshoots about the spacing on mass email like you said ? and what the original message you type into mass message so maybe i can figure out your problem with before sending and after sending mass email screenshoots

I confirmed this is a valid bug. for temporary fixes, please edit the following code:
/components/com_community/libraries/mailq.php line 84

from
$row->body = CString::str_ireplace(array("\r\n", "\r", "\n"), '<br />', $row->body);

to
//$row->body = CString::str_ireplace(array("\r\n", "\r", "\n"), '<br />', $row->body);
