Global notifications does not work

Hello

I found some issues in the forum regarding global notifications which opens a blank window but it seems my problem is different.

actually it works for most of the people, but on some PC the popup window is empty even if there are notifications. But the other popups like new invitations and new messages works fine.

hi Didier.

For me everything seems to work just fine, so maybe you could provide us with some screenshots which will show the debug console(from firebug for instance...)or maybe even some video? Anything which will help us debug this problem properly.

Hello,

I have again an issue with the blank popup window for global notifications. You can test it using the member login I added in the first post.

As it seems the problem is aleatory and is not related to a user or the browser, I was wondering if it could be related to the content which should appears in the popup (maybe special caracters or something like that).

We already have an issue like that with the advanced search where the fields does not display if there are special caracters in the field label.

Hi, Dider.

Do you still have that issue?


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
