Two templates withmenu affectation does not work

Hi,

I'm using a template for public website (vertex as default template), and I want jomsocial in protostar template.
I have affected all jomsocial menu links, and contact page (for test purposes) to protostar template.
It works well with redirection on joomla pages (as contact page), but when I enter to jomsocial, the only one template shown is vertex template (whatever my choices in menus).

Am I doing something wrong ?

Hi, ewajoom.

Well, JomSocial toolbar is a bit different than other Joomla! menu. It's used for internal navigation.
Just hoover over toolbar menu items and you'll see that all menu items there share on menu item id 109 that comes from main element: Se connecter / Créer son compte

So it should be enough to assign template only to this menu item id...

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
