edit profile dont save changes

I just edited admin profile and information was saved. When view "Sobre mi" it's displayed as expected.

Could tell me more how to replicate this issue?


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

but if you enter not as a superuser does not saves the information.

When I try to register or edit profile as a regular user I get error: XIPT-ERROR -
Is it so? Why you didn't mentioned about that?

This issue apply to XIPT extension and not to JomSocial. Have a look on similar issue reported to XIPT developers:

Please contact them.

Also you're using outdated JomSocial version. Current version is 3.2.0.5.

If you want to upgrade and have an issue - do an upgrade and open new thread to receive support.

But let's return to our issue. Am I right that changes aren't saved because error I mentioned in my previous post?

Correct! and the 500 erros es also because of the same extension.

hi,

i try it in joomla with out the xipt extension and in differnt joomla and jomsocial version and without having different types of profiles and is not saving the profile info. only it does if you are the super user.

Sorry but I can't confirm it. I created user in backend at crossunu.com and modified it in frontend - without any issues.

in crossunu.com does not ask for password when editing the profile, how can i have that at crossmsg.com
