we developed a connector which synchronize events from an external systems into the Jomsocial event module. Is there a way to add an event in more than one category ? What hack should we develop for that ?

I am sorry this is impossible in our current system, you need lot of hack for this.. I suggest you hire the 3rd party dev www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers
