Text distorted and doubled up when typing on IOS 7 safari on iPhone, iPad

Hi,

I just upgraded to the latest JomSocial and it is great. But there is a bug on IOS safari. When typing a status update, the text appears doubled up and distorted. This is only while typing. I have changed templates and it is still happening, so it is JomSocial.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.

- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi

Yeah it is not happening on your community site. Any ideas on a fix? I switched templates to the default joomla template and it is still happening. So it is not a CSS issue with that. I am running the latest joomla 2.5.x

Thank you so much. But I did a search for that string in the style.dark.css and could not find it.

I found the string of text and deleted it. I then cleared the cache on my iOS Device.

It is still occurring. :(

Light theme is working fine. Still has notification badge over log off icon however.

for your first issue, i have been fixed it.. i upload this files :

all your original file has been renamed with "ori" tag.. by the way this is for text distortion.. about notification i found this is because safari mobile bug on css "padding".. we still try to fix this issue (about notification icon)..

Hi,

I have discovered that the issue is still occuring when you comment on a post on iOS. The text is still doubled up and distorted.

sorry for this inconvenience, i already ask our developer to try to fix this bug.. :) on latest quick fix, i forgot to tell you i only changed our doce for postbox... i will let you know if this have been fixed :)
