New User is not activated after registration

When new users register through JomSocial their account is not activated automatically. Page: premierraces.org/component/community/register/register

Under the user options I have setup everything to normally allow for automatic user activation:
Allow User Registration: Yes
New User Account Activation: None

There is another component on the site which allows users to register during checkout, new accounts through this component activate without any further steps. It is only when registering through JomSocial that the user is not automatically activated.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I though maybe there was an extra setting in JomSocial but wasn't able to find anything.

Please update JomSocial to current version -> JomSocial 3.2.0.1 and check if issue still persist.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Please provide us with working administrator credentials.
I can't login to your site backend.
Please, edit your first post and add credentials to corresponding fields.

Nevertheless if user is marked red in Activated column in Joomla! Users Manager - you can ignore it. User still can log in and they feel no difference, even if they are not Activated... but always need to be Enabled.
