- Anyone else it was Akismet. Now to figure out what the issue was there.

This started when I moved server. Everything else javascript / database is working but this issue.

I don't know if its new server / joomla upgrade of other update.

I have upgraded to the latest version of joomla and the latest version of jom socal and the problem has persisted.

I disabled my joomla cache / and my server varnish /memcached and put cloudflare into development mode.
I flushed all caches as well as cleared my browser cache.

Basically when I try and post something from the status box the ajax call is returning nothing and nothing is going into the database or appearing on the screen. The update icon just carries on whirring. I get an error in firebug

TypeError: result is undefined (ajax_1.5.pack.js (line 1))

Hi, Matt.

So it was Akismet issue?
As it is solved I mark it as resolved :)

BTW, current JomSocial version is 3.2.0.1 ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
