2 fields email verification in v3.2

Hello,

Does v3.2 include now the feature to test user email when they register ?

We are alot asking that and your answer is that joomla don't do it and users don't have to make mistakes but all websites now include it. Because finnaly our users thinks our website doesn't work

You mean testing email format (e.g if it contain @ followed by domain name and extension like .us) or if email is valid and exist in Internet?

As for now system check email format and if email is already in use on site.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

I mean like facebbok with another confirmation email in order to test if both caracters entered are the same in order to avoid a user makes a mistake typing it's email :

like :

Email : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Confirmation Email : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Format is good but i.e. the user made a mistake after @gmil.com

Email confirmation field will not be added in JomSocial 3.2.
This was suggested already in User Voice but not introduced yet.
You'll need to ask developer for help if you want to have such a feature: www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers
