email notifications not being received by member

Email notifications for private messages, group discussions etc. have stopped working. The mail queue say they are being sent.

They used to work, cron should still be set up okay, I have attached a screen capture of the cpanel cronjob setting.

Can you help me diagnose the problem?

I have registered at your site and didn't get email too.
As I am seeing you are using old version, Can you upgrade to 3.1.1
After upgradation, if there the problem still exist then let me know.

FTP credentials are now correct. Please try again. Let me know if you can successfully access FTP.

Please note. the JomSocial site is in the directory mfa-sibs.org/mfa2/ this is a new site in mfa2 the old site is in mfa

Sorry for the dealy.
I have manually checked with a mail script and it is working fine.
Can you configure send mail type as smtp and check the email function is working fine or not?
You can configure the options at
Site admin panel > login
Global configuration > Server [tab] > Mail settings
Select "SMTP" for Mailer field and fill necessary info too.
