I changed the date format in the configuration to d-m-y and also in the field options of the birthday field, but the date format is still y-m-d.

Can you help ?

Hi, Didier.

Please, provide us with link to site with issue and credentials to it.
Edit your first post and add it there.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Didier.

In edit it comes from js script so it can't be changed easily. Also user don't have to type it manually ;)
Most important is that it is displayed properly when viewing profile.

You may try to upgrade JomSocial to current version -> JomSocial 3.2.0.1 and check if it solve your issue.

Hi, Didier.

No, it's not possible. You'll need to rebuild registration process, field library and profile edit features...
