Is it normal when from popup notification or from pending page when approving, there's no message or something to notice user has accepted a friend invitation

Users think it doesn't work but the invitation has been accepted

And when clicking twice on approve button, then we have a message COM_COMMUNITY_FRIENDS_NOT_YOUR_REQUEST

It's our request but yet accepted but has we don't know that the user has been accepted it's stange

I gave you test server access but try with new users not mine.

I dont see any error there, but seems the callback aftar AJAX is not applied to the dialogbox. Anyway, I think this issue caused by your template modification/override, I suggest you try with the original from Jomsocial itself.. I am sure it will work fine, because in my end by using default template everything is working fine.

So on my test server, i disable all extensions i used on jomsocial pages
I disabled my template to beez template one
I enabled jomsocial default template

And approving a friend always gives me that error in Chrome :
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier ajax_1.5.pack.js:1
Jax.processResponse ajax_1.5.pack.js:1
xmlhttp.onreadystatechange

I just fix this, by editing this file components/com_community/controllers/friends.php, and replace this code :

JText::sprintf('COM_COMMUNITY_FRIEND_REQUEST_ACCEPTED', $friend->getDisplayName(), $friendUrl)

addslashes(JText::sprintf('COM_COMMUNITY_FRIEND_REQUEST_ACCEPTED', $friend->getDisplayName(), $friendUrl))
