When I click the add friend button the add friend modal popup dialog comes up. I can click the cancel button and the modal box will go away but when i click "add friend" nothing happens. Now I can't add friends to my site. I tried disabling all modules, still there is the same problem. Thank you.

I can't replicate your issue. I tried at member list, search result, profile. click add friend, cancel, add again, cancel again, add again, click x, add again.

all fine. what browser are you using? please try to clear your browser cache also.
