JomSocial Active Socialize Expired

Hi,

I want to modify the way a profile is presented when I click on a users name. Feature requested is as follows:

1) Would like the Hello Me module to reflect the information for the user whose profile is being viewed.
2) Remove the cover photo, about me, lines etc from the box as shown in the image
3) Add the information of the user whose profile is being viewed into the Hello Me module to reflect the users profile

Please let me know what files to look at to modify. I do not mind spending the time to do a code hack! The feature is very important.

Hi, Avinash.

For customizing profile page header: ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/modules/profile/userinfo.php

For customizing module: ROOT/modules/mod_hellome (probably you'll need to modify: mod_hellome.php, helper.php and tmlp/default.php). To be honest you''ll need to create quite new module to display currently viewed profile information.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
