Forgive me if this has been asked before. I have searched the forums and can't find exactly what my issue is.
It seems the css for the birthday picker is washed out in white ( see attached image)
Now I thought I was in the right file (/components/com_community/templates/default/css) inside the styles.css.
I made some changes but maybe I missed some. I just re-uploaded the default style.css just in case.
But I would like the font color in the box to be a grey or black (#000000).
What am i missing? or am I in the wrong .css?

You can edit DateTimePicker css in : \components\com_community\assets\jqueryui\datepicker\css\ui-lightness\

there are 2 css.. minimized one and the other one... maybe you can try to edit on that css.. don't forget to backup that css first before editing :)

David, thanks for the reply.
Now I followed your directions above; /components/com_community/assets/jqueryui/datepicker/css/ui-lightness
And changed what thought was the right lines ( wanted to use #FFFFFF for both). in these files:
jquery-ui-1.9.2.custom.css
jquery-ui-1.9.2.custom.min.css

uploaded the changes and pegged my cache but that nothing changed.
What am I missing?

Ah-ha, I finally got it.
It was in jquery-ui-1.9.2.custom.css around line 99
