birthday date picker not shown correctly in frontend and backend

in the profile birthday date picker the year is shown correct but the month and day are always shown as "com" instead of "March" etc.
when i click on a date, this date is shown in the text field as: 2014-03-14

i think the problem occurs since i made update to jomsocial 3.1.1 today. a few days ago it worked...

the date picker for events works fine! there is no problem...
