Login required loop when I try to edit profile information using SSO & LDAP
I am trying to get JomSocial into beta testing at my company and I am running into a problem with profile edits and permissions. We are successfully using Shmanic SSO and LDAP to have users automatically register to our JomSocial instance. Navigation around the site appears to be working well right now. When a user tries to update their profile picture or about me information, they are intermittently getting prompted for login credentials but the login screen keeps repeating in an endless loop using the proper credentials. I have had this same experience. Sometimes I can go in and update one field in about me and the next time I try I get prompted for my login info. I have looked in the error logs and there is nothing related to the request for login information. Your help would be greatly appreciated. (By the way, this is an internal company only site right now and not accessible externally)
We need to have access to it, to see the issue, then to debug it.
We can't help you in blind, we're sorry...
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
