I am having troubles with share, post comment, reply buttons. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. When they don't work I have to refresh the page a few times and then they will work but it is an inconvenience for site users and I'm afraid this will drive some people away...I can't have that. If you would be so kind as to investigate this issue for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I am also having problem with the "video" module. The "featured" and "popular" links do not work. I saw that it is a known bug. I tried the temporary fix that I found in the forum but it did not work. This is not a priority but if you are so inclined, please look into it.
Hi, Bob.
I spent some time on your site clicking... in both FireFox and Chrome. And all features seems to work fine.
Except Featured Videos but this will be fixed soon...
We agree that you'll try to "catch" this issue and circumstances it occurs. Please post results in forum.
unbelievable as soon as you left I logged into the account you were on to delete the test things you did and it happened again
ok I tried to post a comment on the video you featured and it would not post...I came here to let you know and when I went back to the site I clicked post comment again and it worked...so it seems as if there is something that kind of freezes the thing for a minute and then it works again
Hi, Bob.
I just feel like we're on Yeti hunt :)
OK, I'll check it again.
Hi, Bob.
I found our Yeti :)
For some reason ajax continuously sending POST request. It happens only where is activity stream. Ajax try to Get Recent Activities Count:
275eb730625b5157f4ccaa769... 1
arg2 ["_d_","431"]
arg3 ["_d_","active-profile"]
arg4 ["_d_","43"]
func activities,ajaxGetRecentActivitiesCount
no_html 1
option community
task azrul_ajax
Thank you for finding the Yeti lol. I do not know anything about Ajax but will start researching it. I hope your developer can remedy this issues for me. Thank you very much for your time and help. I wish you good health and good fortune.
Hi, Bob.
I assigned this topic to developer. Now they have a lot work fixing bugs before new major release of JomSocial 3.2.
Soon he will response as soon he can...
Hi, Bob.
As I see developer haven't answer yet. I'll check what is the cause of delay.
But do you still have this issue?
I have solved this problem. Configuration/Site/Walls/Interval Time to Check for Latest Status was set at 1000, thus the page was refreshing every second and causing "traffic jam". It is now set to the default of 5000 and is working well. I would suggest that in a future update there is a note on this setting to make users aware that if this number is too low it will cause an issue when "Auto Refresh" is set to "YES"
Thank you,
Bob
