User Decides if Field is Visible or Not on Profile?

This is something which is not clear to me. Id like to be able to allow my users to decide if they want to display their birthday or gender or whatever on their publicly visible profile. Sites like Facebook have this feature as a basic privacy option. How is this done with JomSocial?

User can set different types of privacy for his fields from edit profile page.
