Use/case: A new user registers and selects a specific user profile.
Question: How do I associate a user profile with a default group? When a new user registers, I would like to ensure that they are automatically assigned to a group, as specified through a predefined association between their selected profile and a group.

To be honest this's not possible out of the box within JomSocial, you'll need to hack our code or look for some custom extension here > www.jomsocial.com/addons to acheive this
