When registering a new user, the avatar, whether the default avatar or one uploaded by user, - does not link to the user profile page. The avatar appears, but does not link.

When clicking on the avatar, the following message appears:

Error. Sorry, User ID not found.

This issue is "new", as it only happens with new users. Existing users link properly. Obviously, something has changed, but I can not find the problem. I have recently installed JFBConnect (by sourcecoast.com), but don't know if this is causing conflict or not. If I "disable" the JFBConnect component, I still have the same problem.

Also, not sure if this means anything, but I discovered when looking at the Monitor/Members page in the JomSocial admin, I can see that the users name and username are displayed properly. But, if I click on the avatar and/or name of any user, the details page of the user shows the "username" to be that of the Super-Admin - for every user.

Very confused... hope you can help

Hi James,

Can you tell me how to replicate your problem step by step?
I tried to replicate your problem but everythings work fine :)
1. I register new user "test123" (i activated it manually from backend)
2. i upload an avatar
3. login using "test123"
4. i saw my avatar on member's hub frontpage..
5. when i click my avatar beside activity box (status, video, photo, event), my browser redirect me to my profile page..

and then i tried to login using super admin..
1. after login using super admin, i go to member's hub menu
2. i clicked new user avatar (test123) on community-members module..
3. my browser redirect me to "test123" profile page..

maybe you can tell me how you find this problem step by step.. :)

Warm Regards,

David

David,

Thanks so much for your time. I'm not sure what's going on. I just tried myself and everything seems to be working fine now. I have been fooling around and testing different configurations to the JFBConnect component I recently installed. Perhaps there is a particular setting that causes some conflict. I will keep an eye on this issue as I continue to work with both Jomsocial and the JFBConnect component.

Thanks again,
-bojames
