some users are disabled

hello,

sometimes I've got users that are disabled and I haven't disabled them.
What could disabled them ?
Users that received too much messages ? Because they send too much messages and jomsocial disactivate them ???

JomSocial will not block users because they get too many messages. JomSocial have a day limits of certain activities like "Limit Number of New Messages ". When limit is reached jomSocial will just not allow to send another message the same day. But will never block a user.

Disabled are new users or also other who are on your web site from long time? The are "Disabled" or also "Deactivated"?


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

there was old and another one that has subscribed there's only 2 weeks.

I saw that in joomla user manager that they were enabled but disactivated.

And i set Allow Profile Deletion to NO

It's Joomla problem rather than JomSocial.

I encountered this problem on my own Joomla 2.5 installation and I don't use JomSocial there. Users are registering and after clicking activation link they became enabled but inactive... and still they can log in to Joomla. Also it's impossible to deactivate once activated user in admin panel... it has to be done in database.

hello,

Yes i think it's due to joomla too when users don't remember their password and reset it.
It deactivate user account until he reset it's password completely
