Users don't getlost password verification mail, while all other system mails arrive?

The reset password is not sent by Jomsocial its from Joomla,

You can try the suggestion below to fix it and raise the issue on Joomla forum if its still same after applying fix

For DB error you can also ask your hosting provider to check and fix it.
