I hope you are all getting ready for your holidays and will enjoy the time with your families. I was hoping there was a way to turn off the Secret Key field that appears on the login screen, both on the admin side and the Authentication Key field for our members when they log in. I appreciate the validity of this field on both sides, but it seems to be confusing people so I would like to just turn them off if possible.

That field has nothing to do with JomSocial since it is part of Joomla Two Factor Authentication plugin. You can enable it for backend, frontend and both. Enable it for backend and that field will disappear.
