After installing Jomsocial I noticed that the usual text Profile Menu buttons are not showing. The icons of the Profile Menu show but not Profile, members, Friends, Groups, Photos, Video or Events buttons. I have another installation of Jomsocial with a similar environment and they do show there. I also notice that the "Login successful" message also does not show at the top of the page after logging in. I definitely need assistance to resolve this issue.

First thing to check will be checking if JomSocial Toolbar menu is created (type: jomsocial): prntscr.com/hqeiyi
Then check if menu items in that menu are created and enabled with public access rights: prntscr.com/hqej9u

If one of those are not present - you need to create it.
