Good day Pro's,
I asked this question yesterday and can't seem to find the answer. I suspect one of your Pro's just fixed it, Michal I think. It's happening again. I redesigned the January 2018 issue with a newer layout and added one article and now when I go to the issues page and select the only issue I have, January 2018, the page that appears won't allow me to pick and open the articles. I know you can fix this easily and I hope you will ASAP, but if you don't tell me what I am not doing correctly, I may need to ask you this again.

HI, David.
Thank you for contacting us.
Fixed :)
The fix is easy.
1. Edit your issue
2. Remove all elements in the issue.
3. Save empty issue
4. Add your zones again.
5. Save.
6. Relax :)
Michal,
Thank you for letting me know what you were doing to get Publisher Pro to display correctly on my site, but I went in tonight to work on our first issue again and I am getting the same results. So you know, I followed your instructions exactly, step by step and I am still getting the same results. This concerns me as I have been using Publisher Pro for like 3 years and I have never had it do this to me. Can you please look into this again. I have made more changes and I am still getting the same problem.
Thanks,
David
HI, David.
Please, if this scenario is took place:
1. You noticed that issue elements are visible but not issue icon.
2. So you edited the issue and added the icon.
3. Zones ware gone.
I'll ask our Publisher developer to take look at this issue.
For the most part, yes. That's almost exactly what I did. However, it does not matter what I do. I can modify anything after you fix it and for some unknown reason, I get the same end results that you see now.
Thanks,
David
HI, David.
I noticed developer to investigate this.
MIchal,
You got a developer involved? What! I thought you were the smartest developer at JomSoicial. LOL! Thank you for letting them know. If you can't fix it, at least I know its not another stupid thing I am doing.
Thanks,
David
HI, David.
No, I'm not a developer :) I'm a Technical Support :D
This issue seems to be within code, that's why developer needs to get into this.
Hi David,
Please test now, I recreated your issue:
- I selected another layout and save the issue,
- reselected the original layout and add the zones then save again.
Kind Regards,
Alin
Alin,
Thank you for looking into this, but I just made some very minor changes to my published publication and the only published issue I have and I got the same problem. The articles are not displaying.
Hi David,
Can you please tell me the steps how you do changes in Issue layout, you made changes from Publisher apges or from another pages (database).
Kind Regards,
Alin
Alin,
The steps that I am doing are below.
1. Starting from the back-end and in the "Components" AdAgency Pro
2. I select Content -> Issues
3. I then select "New"
4. I select any of the Layouts 1 thru 14, and I have tried this with them all.
5. Select Type = Specific Article
6. Drag and drop just one of my two articles, "SSHAGETTs" on the one field in Layout 14 for this demonstration.
7. I then select the "General" tab.
8. I enter the issue name, "January 2018".
9. I enter the Alias, "Jan2018"
10. Select the one and only Publication I have, "SSHAG Sentinel".
11. I then enter the Description.
12. Article Item ID, "Same As The Issue"
13. Language = "All"
14. Upload an image, I did not on this test.
15. Go to Categories / Date Tab
16. Default Category for this Issue I leave as the default, "Core Joomla"
17. Article Published Date , "All Dates"
18. I am not adding anything on the Meta Tags tab.
19. I save and close.
20. I now go to the Front-End and after refreshing I select the "SSHAG News" main menu button to open the Publications page, which works just fine.
21. On the Publications page, I select the one Issue that I have been trying to create for almost a month now, "January 2018"
22. When the page opens, you see the below.
